Do you know “Ramen Day”?

The Nippon Ramen Association established [July 11] as Ramen Day, and in 2017 it was certified and registered by the Japan Anniversary Association.

Ramen Day, as the name suggests, is the anniversary of ramen, but its origin is said to be the birthday of Mitsukuni Tokugawa, the feudal lord of Mito, who is said to be the first person to eat ramen in Japan!

It seems that there is also a meaning that 7 is likened to the Chinese soup spoon and 11 is likened to chopsticks. By the way, the 11th day of every month is also “Noodle Day”.
